Description Trapped in a corner where the wind blows out its dust, a little river is glancing underneath the sun.
Its water glances, reflects what once was a clear blue sea. Leaves that provide soft shadows so that insects can find their rest.

Slight curves in the river reveal a small collection of rocks and over there, a tiny cave pointed towards the stars.

When winter falls the landscape changes. The river turned into ice, the leaves broken into shards. The dust however is still there, providing the dense mist that hides the beauty of this little space.

Spring hatches, and the insects reappear. The sun bright, the water liquid, but rain is coming, it starts to thunder.. The rocks, who survived the cold winter, get struck by lightning and vaporised. Destruction that leaves no stone behind.

But before you know it, the rain turns away, the summer starts. the moon sets in, the water glances again.

Eventually we hit the night. the sun is gone, as where the insects, the rocks and even the wind, all returning to their roots, because for today, they are done.
You drink up your last sips of beer and turn the TV off. Just like the river, you return to your home.

Like every person's life, but always interesting. People don't see it and feel like their stupid lifes are gone, but people are stupid, not their lifes. And people are going crazy and dying. And blame all their problems to their lifes. And every life is very beautiful. like weather

reading the first few paragraphs reminded me of a saying by buddha that goes as follows: "There will be some whose eyes are only slightly dimmed by dust, and they will understand," which is exactly what i feel encompasses this story best. i think you have come to understand, at least in this story, the beauty of everything. the beauty of life and death which here (and in real life) is symbolized with the seasons. spring being the beginning of life, summer being adulthood, fall being old age, and winter is finally death. i love the line "spring hatches, and the insects reappear." beautiful. you have captured the true essence of life, which is this..that it is all a cycle. everything will pass away, and everything will return. its all an endless cycle. there is no thought, no idea, no feeling, no person, no animal, nothing. there is nothing that will live forever, everything must pass away. The final line ties everything together, and it is my favourite line of the whole piece. Overall, this is a good read. A good way to come back from a long dry spell.
