"This started off from a want to keep eating things while not catastrophically exploding. In wanting to maintain an overall humanoid form while also wanting to ingest ungodly amounts, simply sticking with the skeletal plan I've inherited wouldn't do, so I made some changes. Given that the back of my neck along with the upper half of my skull is rigid, I've maintained that body plan. Everything down however, needed to split, leading to me ditching a good amount of the original spine and rib cage in exchange for a modified scapula tailing off to twin spines and ending with halves of a pelvis. Protections from a front ribcage are also dashed in favor of even more aggressive expansion. In time however as I've often placed a power source deep in my chest while also unconsciously copying the skeleton over other forms not intended to be self-indulgent, I realized that the lack of any rib cage allowed me to lash my core like some beam, with that chest cavity of mine acting as a nozzle for its wild energies." - Terlynn
