Well Jen, even us full time painters can't just sit down and get it right first time. Appreciate your comments though. Take the river bank, I sweat a bit of blood over that, Making it work in a painting is not always easy. But if you paint every day you ought to be able to paint your way out of a problem. I did, and obviously it worked. As for the houses looking tiny , it was a large Western ranch house but those mountains overpower everything.
