Chip spun round to be met by the masked male yet again. He couldn't see the other's gaze behind the mask, but the tone of his voice was smug and sneering. He didn't like it at all. "And what do you know about me then? You seem pretty interested" said Chip, gold eyes narrowing on the other.At first he had no response, the being simply walked closer and seemed to be inspecting the mural. "The Keyblade War raged while you slumbered...you weren't there to protect those who called your name for your so called 'divine protection'... you protect nothing. All you do is clean up the mess left behind..."
The Light Gaia opened his mouth to try and defend himself but as he listened he realised...he was right. All this time, all he did was sleep...when the world needed him, he wasn't there. Sonic was the one to the save the world, not him...
"This world, or what is left of it, doesn't need you to put it back together. It needs one power, one power to govern it...it needs Kingdom Hearts."
Doubt clouded through Chip's mind. Maybe he was right. He had done a terrible job. Even after defeating Mephiles, the Nobodies...their world was still in separate pieces, disconnected. He had failed.
"You and I, we can bring Kingdom Hearts back...the world shall be reborn. Think about it...and when you know what you must do, come to the Keyblade Graveyard..."
A dark portal opened up beneath the being's feet and he dissolved into shadows. Chip watched silently, looking back at the mural. He knew he didn't have much time to think...

Why does Tails look like he's flipping off someone off-screen?

The loss of his legs is a nice touch. Reminds of the inhumanity of these monsters. But WHAT negative emotions of Tails did this thing come from? And what does it DO on its own? Just sit around waiting for a keyblade master to come along?
It's an old joke among RPG fans when they find a bunch of enemy characters in a room seemingly just waiting for them "What were these guys doing here? Waiting for a bus?"
