I think it works very well, they way you've simplified, and exaggerated the hair.
I'll be sure to show this to the Editor to see what he makes of it

I love the old pantones from when the Beano and Dandy printed with limited colours. It's had an effect on a lot of my work.

Did you mean the Loco Roco things look like Black Face?
