Description So this was a commission from , who asked me to draw some futuristic versions of these warriors from the past and present, for his futuristic post-apocalyptic story Magma.

This was one of six elite warriors for one of the factions in his universe, the Malik Caliphate.

So the Jannisary were the elite infantry of the Ottoman Turks, serving as the Ottoman Sultan's household troops and bodyguards. Heavily influenced by the Jannisaries from Assassin's Creed, i tried to keep the traditional look, but with some power armor underneath.

its....inspired or related to it.

i wanted to find a weapon suitable to the Jannissaries similar to what they used to use during the Ottoman period, and while they did use something to an early handgun, which was a wildly innacurate, single shot and slow loading piece of work (but not in AC2:R ^^), i felt they needed something more than a pistol for a futuristic version, but not like a Bolter Pistol ala WH 40K. so i just did a random looking PDW, inspirations may include from the Kriss as well as other handguns and SMGs

Haha, Hopefully these guys are as good as or even better than the ones in the ACreed.

That's true. Anyway, they're an awesome series of characters.
