Next on my list is a tribute to the 1971 Rankin/Bass special “Here Comes Peter Cottontail” and it’s 2005 sequel “The Race To Rescue Spring”. I wanted to draw his son junior in the style of the original special, and I think it turned out great. Did you know Tom Kenny (voice of SpongeBob SquarePants) voiced both Peter and his son Junior in the sequel? In the original, Casey Casem (Shaggy Rogers in Scooby Doo) voiced him. Enjoy!
