info: anyone or just about anyone who is really into the 2-d oldschool fighting games knows that Ryo and Ribert started out as pretty much clones of Ryu and Ken. Street fighter mocked them with Dan Habiki, a very cool character to me, (DAN IS THE MAN!!!) and art of fighting mocked tem back with Ryo's younger sister, Yuri's fighting style and outfit. there are also other situations where stuff like this has happened. i don't dislike Ryo or Robert, and i believe that they have become their own character over the years. i'm actually like Ryo over Robert, eventhough i'm usually a fan of the more smoother types of character, a good example of that is i like ken masters more than i like ryu...yes, that example was on pupose. LOL.
Anyway, Ryo is actually a really good, solid character to play with, its a shame the art of fighting team has never won a kof tounament, who knows maybe if ryo was a vagabond, he might of won a tounament or two, like Ryu, or Terry Bogard

sure yuri,malin got beef, but i guess that makes them rivials, thats kof for ya, yuri has a bigger chance of geting in the game then malin, even though malin seems like a replacement for choi,especially with her moves, but thats just my opinion.

not really to me though she WAS added because of him not being in the game. Move wise the only move that's the same is...actually I dunno. She only has one claw looking move which is her hard duck punch. The rest have knives yo-yos ect. She doesn't even sahre the same ways of doing alot of her movie and I find her easier to use. I was never huge on choi...his design is kinda meh(though midget freddie is funny at first". His moves are nice(like his throws. They are awsome.) but he's hard to hit. I'd rather see Chang(actually I like him. He's a good power/comic relief character...also I love his chain choke move)and Bao then him...actually I didn't hate Bao at all lol Actually I also liked Maylee even though she's not popular. Forgot about her I'd like her in the new game. I really hope SNK brings her back. She was one of my favorite newer females. She took time to learn but once you did it was fun controling her between normal and hero mode. I'd confuse my friends with her all the time. She's actually one of the reasons I turn on kof 01 and 02. Could you tell how choi's moves and hers are the same..I just don't see it..no disrespect I just don't get it. btw alot of this is also just my opinion if your a fan of him..I really am sorry if I annoyed you. I do expect yuri she is one of SNK's most popular....not as much as mai and nakoruru but she's about...7th I think...I'll have to double check the neogeo poll thingy

no worries, choi isn't my fav., i just really like team korea, maylee is actually my second fav. female character.
as far as the similarities between choi and malin it basically comes to the facts that they both can jump high and they both have the move of hold<-- then -->
kof has done this sort of thing before like with team America getting replaced by seth, vanessa, my favorite female, and i sort of think Maxima looks a little similare to to the football guy, not a bad thing, just something i noticed

they probably used parts of other sprites. I like vanessa...i think she's the only female boxer in video games...could be wrong though. Also many characters csn jump high. I'd love to see maylee in more games. I like king in all but sheesh

they might be soon. I do think in one of the non crossovers she could wall jump or double oh btw they took away malin's wall jump in XI. I would love to see another capcom vs snk with more charcters from allover snk and capcom

was the game capcom fighting jam?,the game that took the place of capcom fighting all-stars, i use to have that game and i remember sakura being on it? or maybe rival schools i haven't played that one in a long time either?

I dunno I gotta pop my old games in again. they really. should have did the all stars version...though the finisher idea they had(which would probably have been simalar to soul calibur) was coll but I dunno if I'd like to see some of my favorite charcters murdered lol. I know Ono(the man behind sf4) is on the fence with the idea. Though he does want to make new darkstalkers project justice/rival schools street fighter plasma sword and the marval vs games. If he annoys the head of capcom(the man who made megaman..may explain why megaman has become a video game whore) we could get it. too bad capcom and snk are not as close as the guys behind tekken and the guys behind virtua fighter. Ah well there's always mugen. I do have to say in the past 2 years there have been shit loads ofr fighting games

that is nice to hear, i wasn't quite sure if they were ever going to make another installment to darkstalkers,rival schools, i hope to see Edge from rs. in another fighting game, that would be neato.
