Been a while Eh?Haha, well this is exactly what it claims to be. A Vanillite Re-Type.
I figured if Vanillite were a Fire Type pokemon it would obviously be a Torch instead of an Ice Cream Cone. lol
Also, it's name even kindof fits. Vannilite. Lite as in Light though
This was made so I could fill out the Fakemon Meme: [link]
It's a meme I created to go along with all things fakemon
I just have 3 more slots to fill.
I Didn't put this on my Fakemon Account because it's more pokemon-related than fakemon-related... Well I don't know.
I did this from scratch in photoshop. Which is something I've never done before. Usually I just trace my own sketches and then add color. It was an experience, not sure where this will take me in the future.

This is really cool! I used to hate Vanilite and family but now I love them. You've made a really good retype and, unlike alot of other retypes, you didn't simply edit a sprite

I agree, I don't feel like using pre-made sprites to make your 'own' fakemon and other sprite needs.

Cinnolite! cuz.. it's not vanilla flavored anymore. and fire is obviously cinnamon flavored. OBVIOUSLY
lol jk XDD Vanillite is cute but I never liked its evos, I thought they were pretty poitless. I sorry.. I want better ice types because ice is unsung awesome.

Haha, I love Vanillite and it's evos. Vanilluxe is actually one of my favorite pokemon. It was one of my main team-members in Black.
At first I, like you, thought they were silly. Until I cought one and found out that it's stats were off the charts (or at least mine was XD)
Ice is actually my favorite type. Jinx is the only Ice type I don't particularly care for XD

haha that was the same for a lot of the ones on my team, hated both eelektross and druddigon but I adored them once I caught them. (well, tynamo and druddigon)
a lot of 5th gen I was so-so about, but nearly all of them grew on me since they were released - the game being excellent certainly helped!
lol Shaneeqwa da Jynx! that was mine in blue, but it stayed in the pc for its entire existance, I dislike it too. XDDD

When the first few pokemon were revealed I was skeptical. I didn't like where it was headed. I bitched about samurott looking stupid but It's grown on me. After all of the pokemon were revealed (in sprite form) I fell in love.

haha I'd still prefer if Samurott stood on its hind legs more, its body doesn't look as awkward.. and water/fighting type at least. I also thought the pig was going to be fire/psychic.. I was pretty pissed it was fire/fighting again for the third time in a row. 
But aside from a few 'blunders' like that, I really do like a great deal of them. <3

d'aww, its so cute. Lovely job on the colors here, especially its flaming head.
I also used to trace hand sketches but these days do most my work 100% digitally, its just faster that way I find.

Maybe. It was supposed to be like a Greek Olympic Torch. Although they aren't always gold, Gold seems to represent Greece a little better than silver. Idk lol
