I HATED this one!!!It looked SO much better before I coloured it! I hate when this happens!!
The colouring sucks. I tried to use watercolours, but the type of paper I used wasn't very good, so...
And the drawing is terrible, too. Hate the blue ugly elf.
Why can't I draw?T_T

That happens to me all the time. The sketch looks better than the colored version.

heh I've had that happen too! You create this really cute or good or even wonderful drawing and then you color it and it sucks...I hate it when that happens. I think it's a good drawing and even with the coloring the blue elf isn't ugly (to me, anyways.) Plus your other work makes up for it!

I believe it came out fairly well, if you dislike it so much, perhaps you should try to CG it? *pokes at* Give yourself more credit than you think, because artists are always their own WORST critic. *nods*

well~ i really like the elf's face and hand. the girl's expression gives a lot to this, and i think the coloring on the girl's clothing, the sleeve in particular, looks groovy. the bg doesn't seem to fit the foreground~ but that may just be me ^^;

Oh man doncha just hate when you do that? The picture looks okay to you till you add some color... then*blah.* I do that alot... which is why I don't like coloring very much. If it helps your picture is gorgeous, the only part that looks tweaky to me is the top right hand corner... the greys a little akward, other than that its fine.
You shouldn't beat yourself down so much you have a beautiful style and technique. Keep up the good work.

i have the same type of feeling at points too though.
what i do is i always make two copies of the original via the light box, and i don't have to worry about screwing up ... cuz i know i suck at coloring

I think it's pretty good! Yeah I fear the thought of coloring my drawings so I just stick to CG-ing >.>; Or leave it B&W...hehe but still, your coloring skills are still a WHOLE lot better than mine!! Wonderful as always ^-^

this is nice yeah sometimes we do mess up when color is involved dont know y but it happens dont worry over it but it is a nice piece anyway I like the compostion and everything keep it up!

I think its very good work, but it seems once or twice you might have lost control over your brush. ^^;; but any kind of pain hates me so what do I know? I like the clothes and the colors, it does suck when we make a picture and then ruin it by coloring. ._.;; I know the feeling well.
