well.. this is my final project for my Intro into Computer Graphics class.our assignment: make a 24x36 size movie poster for a movie already out or so...
so i decided to do willy wonka and the chocolate factory.
I was going for a very simple, pop art, 1950's feel.
Question: Do you think i should add shadows to his face, the whole pick or tell me what more i should do. Or, i looks fine the way it is. I have a little more to do with the text...and the text box at the bottom.
so yea.
I did the lineart in pencil, inked it, then traces it in Illustrator 10 and colored in photoshop CS. *is tired*
so yea.
about um...4 to 5 hours already.
i am not use to digital programs.
i wish i had more access to them.* needs her own computer*

ItΒ΄s Willy Wonka! One of the oddest movie characters I ever saw. Trace and colors in this picture looks like the style of Einz Endelman, the guy who made the character disign of the BeatlesΒ΄s animation movie Yellow Submarine. Very good! congratulations

Mmmmmmm very tasty with the flat coloring, you don't need any additional shading... however your positioning is a bit off... Wonka is stuck far too much in the corner, and colors are running up all the spaces... my only suggestion is too get rid of the giant purple box unless your going to put something in it?

n_n Tashiya, you really are awesome *so much envy*. I doubt I'll be able to see the poster sized version since class is already 'officially' ended, but for sure your going to get an A!
I still think the flat colors are nice since you have the solid colors in the design with the text, but you never know how a a shading one will look unless you try [if you have the time].
