Ioun Wyrd
Because Aelryn is unable to hear, the familiar chosen for them was an Ioun Wyrd made of a core of symphonic crystal. A symphonic crystal is a type of material that absorbs the sounds of the world around them, and every several decades it will release the culminative noise in a single go. It is said that this sound is incredibly serene when discovered in an area untouched by man. This familiar helps Ael compensate for their inability to perfectly pronounce words.

✦ Tremor Sense - A creature that has cast tremor sense is sensitive to vibrations in the ground and can automatically pinpoint the location of anything that is in contact with the ground for 1d8 rounds.
✦Smog breath - Release a cloud of ember and flame smoke onto opponent, making it difficult to breathe. Also makes user immune to suffocating in smoke filled environments themselves.
✦ Grease - Makes Object, creature or ground slippery and difficult to hold or traverse. Objects in contact with the grease spell become slippery themselves.
✦ Summon Aithon: Summon a Mythological horse, it's properties are mundane aside from three aspects: It's mane appears to be set ablaze, it is able to breathe fire, and it will leave a trail of small flames where it's hooves have landed.

Summon a small magical travelling workshop in an unoccupied area , when dismissed the state of the shop is as it has been left and returns in that state when it is summoned again. Any craftsman that uses the tools provided by this workshop gains a +3 to any check in order to create any quality/magical item. Materials must be provided however, and any tool that originated from the magical workshop becomes useless when removed from the premises. The design can be altered as the caster pleases, from the interior to the exterior to accommodate any sort of craft.

Aelryn's appearance changes, taking on the appearance of an armoured knight.
Aelryn's wand becomes the hilt of a sword or of a lance, and takes it takes on an attack bonus equal to Aelryn's casting bonus.
This blade takes on notable properties, this blade is considered enchanted, and spirit bound. Thus it is able to hurt both material and immaterial creatures.
Whilst the spell is in effect, Aelryn draws on the combat skill and experience of their ancestors, becoming possessed in a sense by this ancestor.
✦ Aging Touch
Siphon age from objects or people, making them older.
An object affected by this may crumble into dust permanently.
If a person is affected, then they will temporarily appear much older and feel weaker (-3 to Physical actions), for up to five minutes.
Slows the caster's aging.
✦ Time Hop
Can teleport within a range that is equal to the user's range of sight, this spell can be used to teleport one additional willing individual per school year. (Up to 4 people+familiars). This spell is capable of teleporting through solid objects. When used combatively this spell is capable of trapping others into walls or physical objects, Aelryn has designed it in a way that it is non-fatal and it can only be used to apprehend a singular individual per casting in a similar to this: fanfox.net/manga/dungeon_meshi…. If an individual is intersected into a object then the inanimate object will be displaced in favour of the organic.
Aelryn designed the following limitations:
- Living creatures cannot be TP'd into each other.
- The spell always prioritises safety, avoiding outcomes that would kill. Ie. burrowing them into a surface in a way that would suffocate them will always bounce the target back to the position that they previously were in regardless of intention or success of roll.
If you are roleplaying against this spell and feel it is restrictive I'm always open to negotiating the result in a way that your OC can escape it.
【 Passive Spell 】
✦ Meta Magic: Silent Spell
Ael can cast magic without needing to speak by using the Ioun Wyrd as a medium, therefore leaving only material and somatic actions as the components of a spell that need to be filled.
Can also alternatively, use sign language instead to cast magic. Though their wand will still need to be in their possession though not neccesarily in their hands (can't sign with hands full).

Ael was born to Charlotte and Eugene Ó Muireadhaigh, destined to be the next in a line of generation of craftsmen and wandmakers. Early in Aelryn's childhood it was determined that Ael had a severe hearing impairment, brought on by an illness that their mother acquired when pregnant. Their family is primarily craftsmen, with only Ael's father being of a different occupation as he had married into the family. Ael's father instead, specialised in contract hunting mythological creatures and magical pest control. Which gelled nicely with the fact that these creatures provided plentiful materials for a family of craftsmen to use.
Ael is primarily concerned with the craft of the wand, and while they don't need to go to TRA to complete their education as the knowledge is passed down through successive generations of their family, Ael decided they also wanted to seek out additional avenues of learning.
Aelryn was delayed by their hearing impairments with education, reaching TRA slightly later than most. As such, it would take Ael 5-6 years to complete their education rather than the four that it would take most people so as to not disrupt the class nor overburden Aelryn. Aelryn has always been agitated easily, and thus, it seemed best to divide up their subjects between years rather than take on a conventional schedule. As such, when Ael arrived they were 21 years of age and a little bit late compared to most students.
