Description
I'm president of the Edinburgh University Harry Potter Society and it's our Sorting Ceremony tomorrow! 40 of our new freshers will go through our infamous Sorting tasks and then try on the Sorting Hat before our lovely feast! I'm very excited but a little stressed since planning has taking a long time!! So as a bit of a break I painted this in honour of our Sorting

P.S. My daughter just started singing the Hogwarts School Song, so I thought I'd post another comment, just to get it stuck in your head 
Hogwarts, Hogwarts, Hoggywarties Hogwarts, teach us something please
whether we be old and bald or young with scabby knees
our heads could do with filling with some interesting stuff
for now they're bare and full of air, dead flies and bits of fluff
soooo teach us things worth knowing, bring back what we forgot
just do your best, we'll do the rest and learn until our brains all rot!

Excellent! We sing that at the Sorting feast and print out the words on little scrolls. It's awesome because everone's a bit embarrassed to sing it so I always belt it out to Beethoven's 5th! Our committee are a lot more enthusiastic than the Hogwarts teachers at any rate!
