Mai (Apricot Blossom) is a symbol of spring next to Peach blossom.
On spring days apricot blossom is full of the South forest, bringing colorfully to life. So that is the reason why the old generation consider Mai as the typical flower for the spring
I live in the South of Vietnam so I am into the yellow tone of Mai is overflowing every corner and the red of the decoration things with best wishes on Mai trees.
The lunar new year is the best time to have a good time to go to church or temple and suitable for everybody praying for love, work, etc
and in my artwork, i drew a girl who is trying to have a wish for her real love
