I wanted to get back into sketching and I went down this whole rabbit hole of past characters I've written or been involved in writing. Back in the day, I remember a post by post rpg called Castlevania Disharmony and my first ever character on there, Alice Springward. She'd had a tough time with the first person she ever felt strongly about dying right before her eyes. Since then, she'd bounce between lovers craving affection that she saw others had for each other, but not getting that same feeling.

Right up until she met Nikola Geist. This was a character written by Fragraham who sought revenge on a mutual acquaitance, Graham Drake. At some point, these two met and bonded over their mutual dislike of the Preacher in Black. The story gets muddy for me to remember, but at some point in the timeskip after Dracula's defeat, these two decide to go travelling together. There was a mishap where they each saw each other mid-changing (because classic tropes are classic tropes) and they end up with a kiss (more like a shut up kiss but again tropes).

Nikola ends up having to give up his magic to be able to help Alice and she almost takes her own life because as she feels Nikola's only purpose in life was to protect his little sister Fiona and become stronger than Drake. He talks her out of it and in the middle of that rainstorm in a gazebo, the two end up with the true first kiss. :3 God I'm such a sap.

I figured that while travelling together, they get caught in the rain. Alice is sleepy and they opt to take shelter under a tree. Nikola can't help but look out into the rain, reminisce about their relationship history, and wonder what's to come.

I tried looking on the website and on Fragraham's page for any detail on how Nikola looked and realized I couldn't find anything. I based him off his little sister Fiona :3
