Pokedex entry: Unbeknownst to many, it has been powering entire cities while contemplating underground to prevent itself from overloading. When it roars, all that oppose it will know that their defeat is nigh.
Trivia: Name derives from cephal, Greek for head, and ampere, which is an instrument of measuring electricity. It is based on a lion, notably the main portion of the Greek monster known as the Chimera. Its mane is based on a cumulonimbus incus, or an anvil shaped cloud, said to bring thunderstorms. It is the third member of the Chimera trio and its leader.
The trio was originally supposed to fuse together in a similar fashion to Kyurem with Reshiram/Zekrom, but the idea has been scrapped.
