Description the Germans Paratroopers learnt a costly lesson when they first dropped into Crete. Their style was to parachute in without their main weapons save for their Lugers n Walthers. They had to land n retreive their main armaments from the containers dropped separately.
Anyone can guessed what happened..tactically unsound n real bad for them as the Aussies n Anzacs took them down..floating unarmed targets.

Well, even when they are armed, they are still floating targets. My poppy was a Paratrooper, he was a flying secretary. If he had ever dropped in a war, he'd probably fall with a typewriter.
