lady disdain is of quick witt
a sharp tongue and a beauty
that all men know
lady disdain gives no voice
to those who do not
suit her will or thought
but growls and hisses at them
for she is to their liking until
they meet her growling tongue
for fear of their very boring lives
they run screaming down the streets
"beware beware lady disdain is near"
the men that know her well
run for fear of their women's
snickering at their cowardlyness
those who stay of the male sex
does not know her at all
the women cheer as lady disdain
walks on through this little town.
