Description
Two generations: classical induction motors directly drived from AC-3-phase line (left in the background). And DC-motors drived through 3-phase diode rectifier and resistor control (right front). Drawn with black pencil on tracing paper. The "new" railcars 211 - 214 were delivered one year after my drawing. This year (2013), the serie 211 - 218 receives a retrofit action with induction motors and frequency converters.
