The last time I tried taking a closeup of one of these guys he leapt onto the lens (and altogether too close to my face). They are funny looking spiders and not intimidating in the least. This is a fantastic picture, I've never seen two of them in the same place before.

This deserves WAY more comments... It's gotta' be one of the most impressive spider shots I've ever seen. It seemed too cute to be real, but I was amazed to find that it was a real photo.

WOW, cute umm... Not the spiders themselves, but what they're doing.
How do you shoot these "Jumping Spiders", what if they jump at you. xD Scary thought.

And this is why, when we were little, we called jumping spiders "look-at-you-spiders"! These two seem intensely focussed on you...
What is that brown thing between them, anyway?

Nyehehe! The jumping spider is a curious little arachnid. When you point your finger near it, it will turn to face you. It might raise it's forelimbs to stand it's ground, but it's not likely to bite. You could even try to pick the little guy up. He might jump back, but he certainly won't bite.
