it's actually like a rice field. only it is planted on a hill.

methods like this don't usually just stick to one place when they work, do they?

I would like to visit banaue.

Whoa-mg, that's amazing. It reminds me of the scene in Jet Li's last movie where he's trying to plant rice.

The place by itself is more than beautiful; it is in fact like made by an artist. But you (the artist) brought this place so perfectly framed, that it even expresses some magic. You create great art. It's nice to know you enjoy life so well. Congratulations.

Thanks... these terraces are something like 600-800 years old, and in my opinion, far more beautiful than any of the fake gardens so popular in modern China.

wow, what a great shot.. to think places like that exist in this world, i want to see them! and this looks like a scene from the movie "Fearless" haha!

I'm always happy to think that some places in China really are, if not perfectly, culturally intact (by which I mean,...well, many things) - they are still flawlessly beautiful...

...hrrrrmmmm....

this really is from one of the most brilliant days,

ever. HA ha!

Longsheng!!

yes, just looking at images like this makes me feel at peace.. but it also makes me long to visit these places and/or live there. its just such a different life than the rest of the world which seems to have gotten itself in a big damn rush for the next biggest thing, not to mention how much culture and society have changed.. i entirely agree.
