I'm noticing that everything I submit lately all have the character's head facing like this. |:Anywho, this is *Thunderclap12 's adoooorable My Little Pony OC, Chocolate Swirl! : D
Wanted to draw Swirl for a while, and she's too cute not to draw, anyway. UuU
Plus I wanted to draw something for Thunder, because.
Sooo, here's Swirl! <333 I gave her a scarf somewhat based after one I have, anddd I honestly don't know what else to say, but I type too much as it is, so okay.

I love the contrast of colors in this, with the bright pink against the brown. I do think the colors in the scarf clash a little with the hair, but you did a wonderful job drawing it (the boxes are so straight, I envy you -___-), so whatevs haha.
I feel like the snout could have been a tiny bit longer and the lower jaw not quite as even with the upper one with the nose facing us more (considering where her head is positioned).
Your coloring is so smooth and pretty...

Mmm, yeah, I didn't think much about colors clashing, oops. But I still like it overall, so I won't worry too much about it this time. xD; And you're right about the snout, too, it does look a little off. Thanks for the input, I'll try to keep it in mind the more I draw~ <33

I think I usually consider color combination, but I'm actually pretty poor at it! XD;; As much as I love colors, I can't seem to put them together as well as I think I should... unless it's my clothing. xD

Bah, me too! Colors can be tricky. Lots of experimentation is necessary, I think, to figure out what works well.

djdg AHHH I just LOVE her hair of my goodnesss you draw hair so pretty ;u; I lovelovelove the coloring in it and the shadows and highlights, and the little jaggy tip bits at the end aove her scarf<3
FFFF the scarf is just so awesome! ;u; Black-and-rainbow checkers are the best everrr (I used to have a wristband like that!! <3) Ahhh I love the folds in it and the shadinggg and the shapes of the squaress ahh ;u;
AND AND AND her eyes are so gorgeooous ahhh I just love them ;u; The coloring is so pretty and dkfndjg the pupil and highlights and GAHHH I love them ;u;
And her muzzle/snout is just so small and cute and her FRECKLES and the lineart and knjg EVERYTHING GAHHH her eyelashes are so pretty ;u;
