Finally back into my old painting style, drawing up some OC busts!...for something :>First person to guess which character of mine this is gets a cookie! >:b He's quite old, and has had a bit of a revamp, but I bet some of my older watchers might know...?
I'll be doing some more of these in this style. Critique is very welcome, I really need to improve.

So... Just, in general: this is the kind of image I'ld love to have as bookmark. It's really pretty, and colorrrrrrfull... Yup, so, more in details.
The thing looks cool: you detailed a lot, teeth, the hairysh thing it has on it's head (btw, it's looks great). Sad you've cut it on the front. The colours are well chosen, and the shadows well shown.
I have no idea of what creature is this, but, if it is somekind of a dragon, it's original, how I said, with that fur on the head instead of horns or anything else.
I'm not a genious in art.. For me, the technique is just fine, the thing looks pretty, and the shadows, and the scalles are cool... But I can't say anything else, sorry...

The color in this is so gorgeous!
I love the frosty color scheme, and the little splurt of yellow-y orange is such a lovely touch.

Aaah, I love the head, it looks really nice/realistic. The only real thing I have to point out critique wise is that it's hard to tell where the head connects to the neck. Other than that I believe you did a lovely job. uvu

Although I'm not really sure I understand what you mean about the head? ;; Hha I've probably stared at it so long it's burned into my memory. As in where the skull attaches to the spine or?

Green highlighted are the problems I see. He appears to have no cheek area, and it's hard to tell where the neck actually connects on his lower jaw. So the doodles I put are how I'd fix it. uvu

Here, I did a redline of where I see the different areas and stuff, I suppose my dark shading around the neck makes it hard to see details idk? [link]
