I think Link's strategy derailed somewhere.
Where's Sheik when you need him, huh?
I enjoyed every minute of this. If the tree looks like a last minute addition it's because it is.
Inverted the Triforce symbol on Dark's Master Sword. On Link's, it points down the blade, on Dark's I have it pointing toward the hilt. Also thought of replacing it with the Water Temple symbol, but went with the Triforce instead.

I never knew this was on deviantart. For years I have seen this picture in so many Legend of Zelda tributes and videos on youtube but I never knew where it came from. I'm so happy I have found the owner of this picture and your other Zelda related pictures ^.^ Also do not worry about me saying I have seen your art in other places, I have not seen anyone try to take credit for them, I have just seen them in the old youtube videos that I'm sure you're already aware of

I like that DL's using his right hand to hold the sword, but doesn't that mean the utility sash thing across his chest should be going the opposite way as Link's? It looks that way here, but only until you remember they're facing opposite each other.

Okay, I have some advice for both of you Links:
Dark: Get your sword away from his throat. Stand up, slowly, go stand against the tree. Don't make any funny moves.
Link: Megaton Hammer, NOW.

Because Link needs to win and get the Longshot and he can't if Dark's threatening him like that.
Um, where's Navi in all this?
Anyway, I like the picture. I love the expressions on their faces especially. Dark looks even more smug than he normally would because we can't see his eyes. Link, meanwhile, looks like, "get...off...me..." I also like how you did the colors.
The tree? The tree's a requirement. It fills up extra negative space in the background and provides a frame to direct us to Dark Link's face and then the rest of the picture.
The inverted Triforce symbol is very clever.
There's a fair number of pictures where Dark defeats Link. I guess Dark's been beaten up with the Megaton Hammer too many times by too many videogamers AND HE WANTS REVENGE!!!! MWAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!!!! XD
