"It sure didn't take long for us to find a yeti." Serena mindlessly said as they watched the bizarre scene in front of them. "Do I take a picture?" She asked hesitantly as she placed her hand inside her bag ready to take out the pictobox.

I can't really remember since it was so long ago XD I think I was thinking along of a hybrid

Talina leaned against a tree. "Yeah. I'm sure that would be good. I'd rather just have photo evidence than kill it for those people~" She mumbled.

Serena brought out her pictobox and took a steady shot. Unfortunately the flash was on so when that picture was taking the Yeti's and the giant birds' heads snapped to look at them. The two girls and snow animals stared at each other in silence.

"...this can't be good." Serena whispered under the mountain's howling wind.

Talina held her breath and spoke in a quiet tone. "Don't make any sudden movements. Don't glare, try not to move too fast." She began to back up slowly. Every inch a creeping movement.

Serena followed suit, backing up as slow as she could. She kept her eyes on the birds and the yeti, carefully watching for any movement to go after them. As her eyes shifted from each bird and the yeti she recalled the number of beaks she saw before she took the picture and came to realize something.
"There's one missing..."

Lol. It's all right. XD ))

Talina backed up and slowly pulled her knife from her boot. She kept the steel hidden behind her palm as she glanced at the tree tops. "..." a bird dropped from the sky and landed in front of the both of them with a loud 'thud'. It was extremely plump and stared at them, cocking its head to the side. It squawked loudly.

((OH SNAP THIS IS PREHISTORIC *blows dust off of it* School just... you know getting in the way of what I enjoy))

Serena jumped at the large bird's loud squawking. With its weight, any attack it may land might very well break bones. She didn't even think about what she was doing. She just followed her instincts of fight or flight and in this case, it was flight. Serena turned around and made a break for slight shelter of the trees.

((Anyway- I would like to formally invite you to join this LoZ RP group I joined it when it was jsut starting out but went on a hiatus for RL reasons XP I'm going to resume activity over the summer so you should definitely join me ))

((Woah, this is old XD It's all right, I understand)) 

Talina watched her go, slightly shocked that she had bolted. She turned back to see a large bird rushing towards her. She threw herself to the side, tumbling down the hill, catching rocks, twigs and sticks on her way down. She slammed her feet down to brake herself against the slide and grabbed her staff. She whipped around and looked up the hill to see the giant bird looking down at her, squawking and then turning to leave.
