Got this 5.5 in. doll while I was at a convention about a month ago because I wanted to use it as reference for my own character. Unfortunately, I'm unable to find the creator of it at the moment.

This figure is unique in that it is a 3d printed ball-jointed doll that has jewelry wire as the armature that binds all the pieces together. It can be seen in the first image with the head popped open, bound to the oxidized, still quite pointy nail just above the neck.

The jewelry wire was more like a bridge that wore out over time, where you could pose the figure for a limited amount of moves before, for example, limbs start falling off because the metal gets bent too much. 2 legs to be exact with the immediate thought being, "No, my $30! "

Luckily, since I've been meaning to make my own ball-jointed doll at some point in the near, far, nebulous future, I was able to use stretchable nylon cord in my to-do pile to restring the broken limbs and bind them to the nail that serves as the anchor in the head, but since I was eyeballing measurements, there's a lot of black string inside the head as seen in the first image. This sloppiness can be hidden with the head.

While it's still difficult for this doll to stand or sit upright because of the top-heavy nature of its fishbowl head, it currently has the most natural sitting poses I've seen because the legs can go beyond 90 degrees forward.
