Good afternoon everyone, this is Taku!

I drew this on my phone a few days ago, but when I uploaded it to my computer the colours became SUPER DULL/UNSATURATED.
I had to use a filter to make it brighter, but now it looks too saturated.
OH WELL.

This is how it looks like w/o the background and w/o the filter: Alien w/ no bg

On another note, this is like my first time in ages that I have done clean lineart--

Anyhow, let me give you some backstory on this drawing! Because staying indoors has gave us plenty of time to draw more, 2 of my friends and I planned to make an art RP group on instagram w/ the concept of an alien academy   . I have no idea if this is really going to happen-- but nevertheless, brainstorming for what this could have looked like was fun! The setting of this story is set in a planet called "Unia-Chiea", and the school that students attend is called "Solaris Academy." This special school teaches kids about how to act like a human, transform to a human, how to create human relationships and much more! They learn this stuff b/c in this universe, humans are geniuses and aliens want to adapt their technology lol!!

O-K! Now is an intro to my alien boy whomst I have no name for yet! This is also NOT his official design-- I will make a reference soon (which will look cooler!)!

PERSONALITY
He is an alien who doesn't talk much and is a go-with-the-flow type of guy
He mind blanks and spaces out often!
But despite that, he actually remembers a lot of things (when he’s paying attention). Like stuff people say or names!
A bit socially awkward but is accepting of others!
He is not so good at expressing himself, but he is trying to change this!
He’s also self-conscious but it's hidden by his impassive or spaced-out expression 6(T O T)9

RANDOM FACTS:
He is into cultural studies and languages! One of his goals is to communicate better w/ others!
Confused about his self-Identity and has an existential crisis: “Do I have my own free-will? Who am I? Am I even living...?”   Yee, It's something to do w/ that parasite-looking flower on his back but I will talk about that another time...
He naturally smells like tea!
Doesn’t eat that much, but when he does eat— it’s mostly DIRT! Sometimes it’s flowers or grass, but he NEVER consumes meat ):<
On the other hand, his flower ONLY eats meat! It is a very feisty carnivorous plant.
He is a plant whisperer! He can communicate w/ plants, but when he tries to talk to them, the plants always swear at him
Finally, he has the ability to sink into the soil! When this happens, the flower on his back splits into multiple flowers creating a flower bed (flower bush?). This is to lure in f o o d !

Alright! That is all for now!
I still need to develop him more, so stay tuned for his reference sheet in which I shall ramble more about him! Another thing is that I am also making an alien girl!
