Necklace and Pendent crafted by me.The pendent is made from naturally shed Elk antler (yes, elk, like deer and moose, naturally shed their antlers annually, growing newer, larger ones with each season). We are lucky to live in an area where Elk and Deer frequent, so finding the antler wasn't so difficult
The antler was sliced, and drilled.
The artwork is a mixture of paint, ink, and a bit of 'scraping' the antler. It is then covered in a clear protective coating so that the artwork will not come off, and it is smooth to the touch
The pendents are very strong (try breaking antler. Even cutting or burning it is hard! lol).
It is hung on a suede cord, with a barrel clasp in the back.
