Dawn has failed her mission to save Fynn from his hypnosis in Octo Canyon, leaving her to perish by his hands. Once the operation of Callie’s concert was complete, Fynn was rewarded on a job well done. His reward was being experimented on by the scientists in the Cephalon HQ lab. He is no longer the laid-back Inkling, but Octavio’s right-hand man. Without Inkpolis’s last line of defense, they are doomed to see the light of day again.
