From a scene in Starfox Adventures, gave me the idea to do this pic.Well, 2nd time I used a rain effect, and it did give a lot to the picture. I havent had lightening in a picture, either :3 Rain effect method can be found at [link] The picture has changed a lot since I started it, shorter tail/loin cloth, feet, clothing resembling Adventures more, etc. so yea.

Wait, what? I don't remember that... in fact, I distinctly remember there being no roof at all, except for what you're standing on when you look at her. Where the heck did you see glass that I didn't?

i dunno...ill go an have a look...i remember something being there though, because when Fox rescues her and gives her back her staff, she shoots the fire thing upwards at the huge Krazoa Statue..... and it goes through something....

Oh, that's the warp portal that gives it access to space. Apparently, Dinosaur Planet has some natural barrier that prevents travel to another locale without express permission of the Gatekeeper of that place. But that was when it was split into pieces; could be different now that it's back together again.
The place where you find Krystal is the roof of Krazoa Palace. I'm positive it's open-air, so there's nothing overhead. I've been to the place enough times to remember.

I really like the effects and all the background..but the character doesn't seem as alive as in most of your images

I'm impressed with the work on the hands. They have been irritating me for quite a long time and it got on my nerves how you avoided drawing them so much. Good job. Keep practicing and try making them a little slimmer and longer like a female's.
The perspective is awesome. For some reason, I like the perspective of looking up at a female while she looks down. Maybe because the bust looks more pronounced and the fact that I'm used to looking down at people. The rain effect is...so so, but I'll keep your tutorial handy for my own use.
Overall, I really like this piece.

Very interesting concept o_o; Ive never ever played this game so I don't really understand it but she looks so helpless in that capsule! Your hands are getting WAY better <3 And I love the way she's in there, its as if she's been trapped and she can't get out. I love the rain effect it really adds depth to this picture

Though you really captured (no pun intended) the scene in SFA, I don't like the facial expression in Krystal... She doesn't look desperate or sad IMO.
