EDIT: Removed the blue and yellow light flash effect. I thought it was hard on the eyes. What do you think? good? bad?

This was originally supposed to be finished over a month ago as a tribute, but I've spent much longer on it that I expected to.

I'd have to say I'm rather proud of it, even if the ground may not look the best. I didn't use any textures like I had considered, and I developed my own way of shading my subjects that doesn't include any sort of erasing or dodge/burn tools.

I would like to thank for aiding in some of the line art for Arcanine. I have trouble with forelegs still, but I'm getting the hang of it.

This was inspired by two of my dA heroes, and especially . Without their arts and openness to conversation, this piece may not have been finished at all.

I'll upload the progress into my scraps. In all, this took 11 different draw/color times. I learned a lot in creating this, so in the future I hope I won't have to experiment as much as I did here.
