Actually I wish it was July but for mid-December it was a pretty nice day yesterday. Of course this wasn't the park either, it was "The Brielle" (a retirement home located at 140 Friendship Lane, Staten Island, NYC). One of the guys in Engine 1 (Richmondtown) told me about this lovely spot for photo ops. Thanks man!

All in all it was a very nice 20 mile ride but Bonnie got a bath when she got home. The brain trust at DSNY salted the hell out of Todt Hill, where the rich guys - and the wiseguys - live. Oh well, after a nice ride it's good to sip a Bitburger whilst washing your bike. (As my mate Jan Thomas might say: "I love washing my Precious").
