This is my entry for 's contest, in celebration of their Undertale fanfic "Befriend The Man Who Speaks In Hands" ! Here's the official contest journal for those curious.I wanted to take a stab at drawing out my interpretation of one of my favorite scenes, specifically from chapter 8. Frisk's encouragement through Core!Gaster's sorrow and guilt hit me extremely hard, oh dear.
As a side note, it's been interesting to draw out a different version of Gaster, although I think I ended up visualizing Core!Gaster as a mix of what's described in the story and how I've been drawing him lately, haha.

I'm still going to keep trying when I have a better opportunity and more free time because I still have yet to draw out so many! *__* You're right, though! It might just take some more time to really figure out how to translate the Undertale cast into one's own style, yeah! That's one really fun part of this, in that there are so many ways to interpret everyone visually, haha. Thank you, and I hope you'll also continue to have fun with the art adventures~!

Why, thank you! ;A; I think there are a couple other people who made the attempt, but haha, he is the visually unsettling/scary one and I wanted to make the attempt because I love that initial meeting in the story.

Thank you so much, and I'm so glad you like! ;A; That particular scene with Core!Gaster crying and his words about being terrified over his existence had me bawling so hard, haha. A lot of the scenes are wonderfully written and emotional, but that one scene still sticks to me pretty darn hard! I would love to draw out some other favorite scenes sometime, but only time will tell when I'll have another chance to do so. *crosses fingers* If I ever do further fanart for your story, I will let you know~!
