A little surprise picture for , who managed to capture my 10,000 hit. Thanks very much again
The main inspiration came straight away from her nickname (LostPup) and was a great fun to draw. ..I generally find emotional pics much easier and fluent than anything else ^.^
Anyway, I've decided to return to the "cel-shading" technique I've always used as I'm not very satisfied with how my previous attempt of drawing realistic fur came out. Also, I've created lotsa little brushes to make drawing the scenery faster.. I will try to work a little more with them and create a tutorial eventually ^.^
The original size is 1600x2000px, i spent about 10 hours total drawing it.

Thanks, but that would be a no. Also, I suggest you wouldn't use such a tactic in the future. Delayed answer doesn't give you any right to use the artwork against the author's will, and it's pretty mean to even consider putting the author in such a position as if he/she owed it to you.

I scrapped the whole thing anyway, my computer froze when I tried to print it (and I didn't save). I'm gonna turn it in on Monday with original art.

This is really well done. Just gorgeous..the entire scenery is drawn and colored just right, there's a lot of depth to it. Even though the pup looks sad and lonely, the bright highlights and especially the butterfly add enough light and color so that it isn't depressing to look at..as well suggesting he'll find his home again, maybe?
