Assalam Aleikoum wa Rahmatou Allah Ta'ala wa Barakatouh [May peace and mercy be to you all],

Hope you're all doing fine, brothers & sisters!
Today, I just want to share with you some thoughts that I had these last days.

The Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him) said : عجبا لأمر المؤمن إن أمره كله خير ، وليس ذاك لأحد إلا للمؤمن ؛ إن أصابته سرّاء شكر ؛ فكان خيراً له ، وإن أصابته ضرّاء صبر ؛ فكان خيراً له . رواه مسلم .
What means : “How wonderful is the affair of the believer, for it is all good, and this does not apply to anyone except the believer. If something good happens to him, he gives thanks for it and that is good for him, and if something bad happens to him he bears it with patience and that is good for him.” Narrated by Muslim, 2999.

This Hadith gives us 2 of the most important ingredients for a great life : patience and gratitude.

--> Patience, to deal with difficulties that you face and struggle anything that can get in front of you and prevent you from reaching your goal.
You have to be patient, bacause you know that Allah (God) only wants your good.
In every little and special thing that happens in your life, either if you find it good or bad, you must have the conviction that there is a wisdom behind it.
Maybe you'll notice it, maybe not.
Maybe it'll give you a chance to do something good in your life, maybe it'll be saved for you until the Day of Judgement . Maybe it'll improve your mental strength and gives you a better comprehension of yourself, others and life.
A proverb says : "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
It's definitely true.
You only have to look for lessons that life wants to teach you by its fluctuations and variations, then try to find solutions for problems in front of you, but always with the positive thinking that God only wants your good, even if you're having a very hard time, just be patient and keep on the good work, and, InchaaLlah (God Willing), you'll be granted.

--> Gratitude, to thank Allah (God) for every single thing He has gave you and still gives you.

وإن تعدوا نعمة الله لا تحصوها إن الله لغفور رحيم ) النحل , 18)
[And if you should count the favors of Allah , you could not enumerate them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.(Al-Nahl, verse:18) ]

Say 'AlHamdu li Llah' and thank God for giving you sight to read this text, brain to understand it, and thank Him infinitely for being a Muslim.

(ثُمَّ سَوَّاهُ وَنَفَخَ فِيهِ مِنْ رُوحِهِ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ قَلِيلًا مَا تَشْكُرُونَ)
[Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.]

Finally, I want to end my text with a very beautiful Hadith which I particulary like :
قال النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - : يقول الله تعالى : ( أنا عند ظن عبدي بي ، وأنا معه إذا ذكرني ، فإن ذكرني في نفسه ذكرته في نفسي ، وإن ذكرني في ملإ ذكرته في ملإ خير منهم ، وإن تقرب إلي بشبر تقربت إليه ذراعا ، وإن تقرب إلي ذراعا تقربت إليه باعا ، وإن أتاني يمشي أتيته هرولة ) .
[The Prophet said, “Allah says: ‘I am just as My slave thinks I am, (i.e. I am able to do for him what he thinks I can do for him) and I am with him if He remembers Me. If he remembers Me in himself, I too, remember him in Myself; and if he remembers Me in a group of people, I remember him in a group that is better than they; and if he comes one span nearer to Me, I go one cubit nearer to him; and if he comes one cubit nearer to Me, I go a distance of two outstretched arms nearer to him; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him running.]

I hope that it was all benefit for you and happy new Hejire year 1433 for everybody.
