Here's some work in progress shots of a Silence Glaive I've been building for ~straywindThe design of this glaive changes a bit in the show so I went with this variation:

Starting at the top left is a render of the reference model I built based on the above image. Next is a couple photos of the pieces of foam I cut out based on the templates I printed from my 3D model. Most of my photos focused on the bottom "fins" since they were the most difficult and time consuming part of this build. Lots of bondo and lots of sanding.

This prop turned out so amazingly. I knew I was in for a treat when I commissioned you to make it for me, but I never expected such intense attention to detail. The precision of the blade and the sleek look of the base are really something. If you do want more photos of the staff after you see the shoot photos from Fan Expo I would be happy to provide you with more photos of it. Thank you so much! :3

The Silence Glaive was $200 and I must say it was worth every penny. :3 The design is gorgeous and he made it break down into two parts to make it easier to travel with.
