I know I've posted this once before, but on Halloween I wore it, and I had my bow, and I just couldn't resist. XD So here's another pic of it. ^w^ My ears are pointed, too, but you can't realy tell. ^-^ Can you believe that two different people thought that I was trying to be Link when I wore this to school? X3Now for the informational stuffs. ^-^ I made everything (boots, gauntlet, quiver, underdress, and outerdress) except for the hair chain thing. (but I have made the hair thing before XD) Original deviation is here
Also, I know I'm not really holding the bow right.
(I've not had much practice yet, and it's really hard for me to pull it all the way! X3)

I like the panels and color of the overcoat, but if you are willing to accept a suggestion, do choose a different pose, the sleeves would not be compatible with any archer, unless this is a version for non archers.

"sewing impaired"-- LOL. Try it-- as long as you can imagine the stresses on the cloth, you can invent your own stitches. As long as you've got fairly good eyesight and no major hand-tremors, you can do the handiwork.
Fitting the clothes to a particular person, though-- that's HARD!
I used to sew my own puppets and costumes in Jr High and high school, but took massive kidding nfor it because I'm a guy. :-/ Typecasting = unfair. Just because I've got hairier arms than the "fairer sex" doesn't mean I've got to be as clumsy as a horse in a spider-web.

Meh-- don't worry about the archery. Unless you're aiming at paper-and-hay targets, it's just a way to get pleasure from someone else's pain...and that ain't good.
Love the sewing. Wish we could see the ears more clearly-- how'd you make them, and from what material?
