Description Yay! :3 A new drawing! x'33

Lately I've experienced a lack of inspiration, and also started two oil paintings that I can only use once a week

But yesterday morning I had a vision, and therefore (unknowingly) spent 12 hours making it.
Today I added some final touches and voila! Here is My first try at drawing Kyoko and Ren from Skip Beat

Today I notices a couple of faults in the drawing, but that usually happens when you're tired^^ Any how, I hope that you all will like drawing, and hopefully it won't be a month until the next one Hope you’ll like it

What do you think?

Yeah I knew in my head exacly what I wanted it to look like, but couldn't make it look good outside of my head...but when I finally finished Kyoko (the girl) I knew I made it:3 I feel like there's an intensity between the two of them and that they actually convey the right feelings^^ But it took about 8 hours total

I actually don't notice that time goes by Suddenly I have to turn on the lights because I can't see anymore xD But it feels kinda odd that all those hours just past you without knowing it

I agree. I go through the same principal. I'll start drawing, or playing a game, or watching a movie, when I suddenly need more light. Then, I subconciously turn it on, not thinking that it's going dark...

Me neither^^ My favorite games are Ratchet and Clank and I actually haven't bought a new game the last 2 years. But that's because I haven't had the money to buy new In stead I've bought manga xD (I mean seriously I can get 7 books for the same price as a game 0_0 ).

systemgirl In reply to Kiku-Okassu [2009-04-18 18:49:25 +0000 UTC]

Quite expencive, but games cost even more. A book Swedish translated manga costs about 60kr(7,24$) and English cost 100kr(12,11$) and a new game cost about 600kr(72,64$)

Kiku-Okassu In reply to systemgirl [2009-04-18 18:52:36 +0000 UTC]

whoa... that's expensive...

Yeah, it depends on what series you're buying from. Yugioh is around $7 while Wolf's Rain costs about $10 A new game here costs between $50 to $60

I dont know how to translate it into your currency... sorry for the inconvinience.. (can't spell today, can I?)

Well Im glad your having fun! Its a shame its ending so soon, though you may probally be able to find a higher level one in the future. Usually they run higher level classes if the students are intrested :3 Awr thats such a cute thing to say though Traditional is seriously hard to get things like that right, and you got it right! I use digital, so some things are easier XD

There is an advanced course, but I doesn't begin until next spring But I'm thinking of signing up as a "helper" for exchange students, a person who helps them to adjust to study in Sweden That way I can get friends from Japan^^
yeah, it's sometimes difficult to do everything in traditional style

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

llama-doll In reply to systemgirl [2009-04-14 16:17:33 +0000 UTC]

Well sign up for both! Having a japenese student would get you a new friend, and you would pick their accent up etc. Im getting a french tutor, and shes french, it really helps. I find another way of learning (that really does help, it sounds weird at first, but it was the way i learnt some german XD) is to sing what your trying to say. Then say it normally. It really helped me XD
Yeh, sometimes its major difficult to do things digital too though 030
