"Rain...the Inkanyamba must be angry."

The Inkanyamba is a gigantic eel-like beast living in a cave system beneath Howick Falls in South Africa. While not as big as its potential relative, the Grootslang, the Inkanyamba is still a little over 100 feet in length. Local Zulu legends say that the Inkanyamba can cause severe thunderstorms when it is enraged, a claim that can be backed up by TriZen researchers who noted the appearance of thick clouds and rain when operatives opened fire on the serpent. Interestingly, while the other legend of its 'death stare' were not entirely true, eye contact with the creature did seem to cause some operatives to freeze up in fear.

After a lengthy battle, the Inkanyamba was eventually subdued and relocated to the Leviathan Zone where it could live more freely without endangering human lives.
