After birth, its back swells and hardens into a shell. Powerfully sprays foam from its mouth.

I based this one off of a picture of, you guessed it, a baby turtle. I gave it a fuzzy tail, but looking back, I think I should have left it a more leathery tail. Based on how it's depicted in the anime and 3D models of Squirtle in other games.
