Promotional piece for the Youtube series I cowrite Dragon Ball DC, the story of Saiyans in the DC Universe. This is a fun idea I've had based on the amazing Super Team Family blog, to imagine moments from Dragon Ball DC as comic book covers. Go check out the series here:

One of the fan fave moments from ep 5 of the Doom Saga was the appearance of Kakarot Black! We'd been getting requests and theories of a Goku Black equivalent since the start of the series. When writing this episode of Doom and deciding who would be attacking Lex Luthor in the White House we kind of off handily decided on Manchester Black the psychic being a member of the crew. I made a joke of him saying "Oi I'm Kakarot Black" after taking over the body of our hero and we instantly realized how much fun that would be to actually do. We went through the effort of making a edit of one of our main Kakarot Kent renders to turn him into Kakarot Black, and that would be the real color scheme we'd use if it were an actual design but good ol Fox Goose from twitter (twitter.com/FoxGeese ) did a piece of what Manchester Black would likely do with Kakarot's body and I do kinda love it, though you can also see this same cover's variant with the Kakarot Black render we made for the episode. Also thanks to unbolted_Creations from instagram for the Gohan piece!
