Another genius work with lights and darks... I'm so obsessed with comp lately... I hope I can incorporate it in my own art as skillfully as you have someday. T__T This picture is SOOO beautiful. I luv the shine children running up the steps hidden in the trees' shadows... And the colors you used... really makes it feel like a hot summer day and really conveys a sense of nostalgia. T^T I wanna be there right now... as a kid.... TT^TT Really luv this. ;__;

This work really forces the viewer to look more closely, as you've hidden the best parts within the neutral color scheme. That was what got me looking, as a matter-of-fact. I love the fact that the two young men - whom remind me of onmyouji - are running up the steps, and that the brown tones of the tree, the steps, and themselves blend into one seamless whole. The bit of color from the landscape on the right is perfect in offsetting the neutrality of the browns, and the reflected light on the left is what pulls this piece together.

my goodness, thats very interesting! i would not have guessed on my own that this is done in paint chat. it looked more like oil or at least acrylic to me. but ive also noticed that digital coloring is very... how should i say? non-digital-looking these days. anyways, this is very cool! i love how the characters blend into their surroundings. i think it somehow gives the picture a surreal mood.

Lovely. They look as if they're running away from their mentor or something, but that's just me. Gotta love the sepia tones and lighting... and their costumes really remind me of Luc's from Suikoden II *shrugs* But, great job! ^_^
