Standards from pre-modern eras are interesting to study because contrarily to flags today, they're not exactly "national flags", but banners representing ideals and heraldry. I would imagine it is the same in Middle-earth! Very well done as far as rendering the flags goes.

beautiful!! specially Rohan's one. they're so different, but so pretty. I like the serious and noble atmosphere of Gondor's flag, and loved the bright colors of Rohan's. and yes, the design is awesome.
