Tis just a quicky! Another break from the commission XD I'M SORRY!!! It's just that I've been so DRY lately that any chance of actually doing something must be taken! But don't worry, been working on that commish today too
I've been wanting to pay a decent tribute to one of the best animated TV shows in history for years now. Never get around to it basically because I always seem to have other things to do.
There's word around that Disney wants to make a Gargoyles movie, but that is not about the original Gargoyles. THIS WILL NOT DO!!! I demand a real movie!! Directed by Guillermo del Toro!! About good ol' Goliath, and Elisa, and Brook and Broadway and Lex and Bronx and Hudson AND XANATOS and Demona and and and you get the point!
By the way, there might be a whole set of those in my gallery if I keep this up

I vote original Gargoyles crew in Avatar-quality CGI digital format. Give me something I can really sink my teeth into and eye google to death. Goliath on the big screen in computer generated imagery....droooools. Let's keep in mind that they have to be voice by the originals too or it just won't fly. Of course, the original cast has all stated they'd absolutely come back for that..

Oh yeah, gotta have original voice actors. Even they are wandering why they haven't been contacted to participate in this rumored film. At least that's what they were asking at the last Gathering of the Gargoyles up on YouTube.

Heheh, I swear there could have been a whole spinoff show with only these three guys; they're an awesome trio.
As for mention of a Gargoyles movie... meh, not sure how I'll take it. On one hand, it sucks that it won't be about the original crew. On the other hand, how would you explain a whole show's previous continuity in a 1 hour 1/2 to 2 hour 1/2 feature film? Perhaps starting fresh would be better for the sake of simplicity (we've all seen what happens with show's turning into movies, The Last Airbender being the most prominent, current example IMO).
I'm just hoping that these rumors are true, to begin with, and that we'll hear more of it soon. COmmon, Disney, give us the goods!
(would be cool if they actually did it in hand-drawn animation, like Princess and the Frog; THAT was a great idea, if only for nostalgia sake. Sad that the hand-drawn department of films is sort of fading away).
