It's only sketchy because I took a phone picture from my sketchbook, I just wanted to quickly color over it and see how it looked. I hesitated on posting it though because *gets behind bulletproof shields* I don't want people thinking I'm not working on owed stuff.

XD Yeah, I think the biggest reason I colored it was because the image was a bit icky and I had to be like...
"Hm...should I take a minute to scan this in with my actual scanner, or twenty minutes to color it in? Which would be less of a pain in the ass?"
Funny thing is that the it's not even that using my printer is a big deal, I don't know why I'm so resistant to using it. XD It's a really good, expensive printer sooooo it's not like it's bad or anything!!

tumblr has a policy allowing any third party to use anything posted on the site royalty free and so putting your stuff on there is like forfeiting your copyrights ;w; I value my art too much for that mess!!

;-; Someone told me that that was misinformation because I heard of that before, but it was supposedly disproven, but after rereading the terms of service you're right.
Though Dee told me that if you have it posted on DA it does become copyrighted and can't be used for third parties, so I guess if I post my stuff in like, sketch dumps or something then it isn't a problem.
Still, that's really fucked up!!

I actually found a way to copyright all your work on Tumblr and it's insanely easy to do. All you have to do is put on your main page Copyright Β© 2014 Shayla Johnson. All rights reserved. and you're good to go! Also you can have the pictures you post on Tumblr redirect to the image you posted on DA, so that helps too!
It just sucks because I don't like spamming DA with all my little sketches and doodles, but people like it when I post them. So that just sucks, but thank you for bringing the copyright thing to my attention!
