I have hesitated to upload this photo. I didn't want the chipmunk look ridiculous. It is only a funny photo but showing it is not so easy sometimes to get peanuts - they are so big - into its cheeks. Chipmunks must collect food for the long winter to come as they are hibernating. They do it all summer long, they are very courageous.__________________________________________

This is super cute. Since we have a new baby squirrel in the yard that doesn't appear to be afraid of me, this is making it hard for me to decide if I want to see if I can make him more comfortable so I can get more pics, or if I want him to not like our yard so he'll stop stealing the peas & strawberries & peeing on the fence line. 3 ft away, he just looked at me when I went to pick peas. I wouldn't have noticed him if he hadn't made them rustle as he grabbed them off. When I clapped my hands and said shew he just stared at me like, "Really this is what we're doing?" & started looking for another pea pod. lol -Heather
