Star Wars fans will surely know her from the Expanded Universe, tho with the announcement of the new trilogy, Lucasfilm kiboshed the EU in its entirety relegating it to non-canon (even tho its placement in official canon was itself a subject for debate). Still the EU carries a lot of history and Mara Jade will no doubt continue to hold a place in Star Wars fandom.'s palette challenge.
