I guess I lied about only cookies oops. I recently picked up some new manga and, on top of being on my meds again and overall feeling a lot better, I got sUPER inspired to draw my monster boy: Sakari. This totally isn't cause one of the manga I got is amazing old man x monster content.

This is actually a huge glow up for him LOL. I drew this guy a LONG time ago before I completely revamped his design/name/everything. fav.me/d37np7e His name used to be Saiyaku back when all my OCs had Japanese names lmao. But after a while I was like /sLAMS FISTS DOWN/ wHAT IF HE WAS MORE MONSTROUS. And thus this design came around. I wanted to take some inspiration from sphinxes so his face is still humanoid while the rest of him...isn't.

He used to be human, but is now what's known as Hell Touched. AKA he was cursed by a rEALLY powerful demon of Hell, not a run of the mill demon from the Demon World. Because of that, the curse is powerful and can't be broken easily. It also comes with a load of powers "bestowed" upon him to make him suffer as much as possible. Most prominent is "void" powers. He has the unfortunate ability to make anything or anyone that comes into contact with him too much to be erased from existence. They're still alive and stuff, but to the world around them, they never existed. Thus Sakari has isolated himself ever since his transformation, half out of fear of this power, and half because he doesn't want his friends to see him like this.

bUT hope you guys like this. I was p happy with how the pose turned out, and who knows; I might draw more of him soon. He's p fun to draw.
