We had cute and squishy for a while so how about we veer back into more serious territory eh?
Mara's been making quite a splash in the story lately so I felt a little more art of her would be nice~ This is a pretty fun one cause it's the first glance we're getting into Mara's past and we'll be seeing plenty more later on. We'll see why she's the way she is...
And you know something is wrong when Mara doesn't have a smile on her face...What could she be remembering?

And I kinda wanted to test myself and draw a bit more "loosely." I was still careful but I wanted to try to challenge myself to work a little more quickly and worry less about everything like the shading, the lines and everything being "perfect."
Overall I'm very pleased with this and I hope you guys like it too ^^
