This is a good candid, well framed and balanced, and I really like it, but there are a few elements that are preventing it from being great.
1. You've caught the attention of the waiter. In a candid, you don't want anyone acknowledging the camera, though you've captured him before he can react with a pose or a smile, which is permissible in my book.
2. It's a an accidental selfie. I wouldn't find it too distracting if it weren't in a central location with tons of lines leading the viewer to your reflection in the mirror.
3. The cellphone on the table, is a bit distracting and is the only object that really betrays the timelessness of this shot. Though it could probably be easily edited out in photoshop.
4. The young lady is caught in mid-chew while eating. I wouldn't complain too much (it is a restaurant) except that she's a main character in this shot, and unless catching someone's mastication is a paramount goal, it tends to be a distraction otherwise.
